Bunnamagoo Pinot Noir Chardonnay 2013

The 2013  Bunnamagoo Pinot Noir Chardonnay was made using cool climate fruit from the Central Ranges in NSW according to the traditional Methode Champenoise technique. The wine is straw yellow in colour and after 42 months on lees it has developed a complex bouquet of baked pastry, almond biscotti and appleskin aromas.  The palate is rich and rounded with flavours of exotic spices and subtle strawberry notes.  The wine is full bodied but retains freshness with a citrus line of acidity.  A small final disgorging liquer addition was made to balance the finished wine.

Bunnamagoo Pinot Gris 2017

The 2017 Bunnamagoo Pinot Gris sources a parcel of fruit from Mudgee in the Central Ranges of NSW.  Bunnamagoo's winemaker, Robert Black, fermented each component separately in both stainless steel and older french oak hogsheads at cool temperatures before forming the final blend. The bouquet has lifted nashi pear and apple aromas.  The palate retains freshness with interest and texture provided by wild fermentation and maturation on lees for 3 months

Bunnamagoo Riesling 2016

The 2015 Bunnamagoo Riesling  sources parcels of premium fruit from Mudgee, in the Central Ranges of NSW.  Bunnamagoo's winemaker, Robert Black, fermented teh juice at cool temperatures to retain freswh lemon and grapefruit aromas. The palate is generous in flavour with a brightness provided by the clean mineral acid line.  The wine will cellar for 15 years.

Bunnamagoo Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2017

The 2017 Bunnamagoo Sauvignon Blanc Semillon sources  parcels of fruit from cool climate vineyards in the Central Ranges of NSW. Bunnamagoo's winemaker, Robert Black, fermented each component separately at cool temperatures before forming the final blend.   The fresh bouquet of grass and citrus with mineral notes is reminiscent of the style of Sancerre that leads to a dry and fine palate with s soft texture and cleansing acidity.

Bunnamagoo Semillon 2014

The 2014 Bunnamagoo Semillon was made from fruit grown at the Eurunderee vineyard near Mudgee, New Souh Wales.  Bunnamagoo's winemaker, Robert Black, fermented the juice in a mixture of stainless steel tanks and new and older French oak barriques and hogsheads.  The wine was left on lees for 4 months and the barrels were stirred monthly.  The nose displays lifted lemongrass characters with hints of shortbread from the 'sur lees' treatment.  The palate is a fresh yet textural style that has a focused acid line providing a long finish.   The wine is drinking very well now but will reward careful cellaring for 7-10 years

Bunnamagoo Chardonnay 2016

The 2016 Bunnamagoo Chardonnay uses selected parcels of fruit from vineyards in the Central Ranges of NSW.  This popular house style made by Bunnamagoo's winemaker, Robert Black, continues to embrace a variety of hands-on techniques including 100% barrel fermentation in a mixture of new and older French and Hungarian hogsheads with intermittent stirring and maturation on lees for 10 months.  Exhibiting tropical fruit flavours with subtle cashew notes, this chardonnay retains its typical supple texture and enticing complexity. It will benefit from careful cellaring for up to 6 - 8 years

Bunnamagoo Rose 2017

The 2017 Bunnamagoo Rose is made using Shiraz grapes from Bunnamagoo's Eurunderee vineyard near Mudgee, in the Central Ranges of NSW.  Bunnamagooo's winemaker, Robert Black de-stemmed the fruit without crushing prior to gently pressing the whole berries to extract juice with a pale pink hue and fine structure.  Flavours  of strawberry and raspberry precede a  palate that finishes clean and dry.

Bunnamagoo Tempranillo

The 2016 Tempranillo is the second release to be made off young vines planted on Bunnamagoo's Eurunderee vineyard near Mudgee NSW.  Widely regarded as an exceptional vintage, the small volume of fruit produced this year displays vibrant cherry and some spicy mocha notes.  Bunnamagoo's winemaker, Robert Black, fermented the fruit in potter fermenters for 7 days followed by malolactic fermentation in 20% new French Oak hogsheads and stainless steel for only 6 months to retain the fresh aromatics.  A find tannin structure and a medium weight provides for a wine with an attractive balance and in true Spanish style is ideally suited to tapas.  The wine will benefit from careful cellaring for 7-10 years

Bunnamagoo Shiraz 2013

The 2013 Bunnamagoo Shiraz was made with fruit  from the Eurunderee vineyard near Mudgee NSW.  The vintage produced a wine with enticing aromas of  sweet spices and raspberry. The palate fills with plum and red cherry flavours .  Bunnamagoo's winemaker, Robert Black, matured the wine for 12 months in a combination of French and American oak to provide evenness and complexity.   This wine will benefit from careful cellaring for 10-15 years.

Bunnamagoo Merlot 2013 

The 2013 Bunnamagoo Merlot was made by Robert Black, using gentle winemaking techniques in order to preserve the ripe mid-palate and supple tannins that Merlot should typify.  The fruit was harvested and fermented in small batches according to ripeness and flavour profile.  The resulting blend shows layers of plum and blueberry and chocolate characters. Maturation in a mixture of new but predominately older French oak barriques over 12 months has softened the tannins and added hints of vanilla and toast to complete the finished wine.  This wine can be enjoyed now but will continue to improve for the next 5 - 7 years.

Bunnamagoo Cabernet Shiraz Merlot 2013

This wine was made by Robert Black with fruit grown at Bunnamagoo's Eurunderee vineyard near Mudgee in the Central Ranges of NSW.  This unique triple blend exhibits dark chocolate, raspberry and mocha characters with a mid palate freshness and without the heavy tannic weight of traditional Mudgee.  The wine is silky in texture with great persistance and it finishes with gentle vanillin oak characters.  It will benefit from  careful cellaring over the next 10-15  years.

Bunnamagoo Cabernet Merlot 2013

The 2013 Bunnamagoo Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot was made with fruit grown on the Paspaley's vineyard at Eurunderee near Mudgee, NSW.  Each component was fermented separately and then matured for 12 months in a mixture of French and American barriques and hogsheads.  Bunnamagoo's winemaker, Robert Black, then assembled the blend to create a wine exhibiting blackberry and mocha scents.   The palate shows an intense fruit mix of  boysenberry and blood plums across the front and middle with soft round tannins.  This wine will reward careful cellaring for many years.

Bunnamagoo Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

The 2013 Bunnamagoo Cabernet Sauvignon was made with fruit harvested from the Eurunderee vineyard near Mudgee, NSW.  Bunnamagoo's winemaker, Robert Black, fermented the fruit in stainless steel potters for 7 days to  produce a medium- bodied  wine exhibiting varietal Mudgee aromas of cassis and blackberry notes.  The solid tannin structure marries well with chocolate and mulberry flavours and a vanillin finish contributed byu maturation in old and new French oak hogsheads. Patient cellaring will reward for 10-15 years

Bunnamagoo Autumn Semillon 2016

Kids Earth Fund
The picture on the front label is from the Kids Earth Fund collection. It was painted by a 14 year old Polish girl and is called "Jesien' meaning Autumn in polish.   This charitable fund enriches the lives of children through art workshops and programs fostering social, cultural and ecological awareness in children around the world. See kidsearthfund.org.au. Part of the proceeds of each sale supports this cause.

The 2016 Bunnamagoo Autumn Semillon is a worthy successor to the benchmark 2013 vintage.  it is winemaking's closest equivalent to alchemy, displaying lifted lemon and honey aromas.  The rich, luscious palate is balanced with a cleansing natural acidity.  Winemaker, Robert Black, lightly crushed and pressed the skns to release teh prized golden syrup.  After fermentation it was matured for 9 months using a mixture of older French oak hogsheads, then blended to add complexity.  This wine will benefit from careful cellaring for the next 15 years.

1827 Bunnamagoo Range

In commemoration of the year the property was settled, Bunnamagoo has adopted the name "1827” for special releases of its finest wines.

Bunnamagoo 1827 Chardonnay 2014

2014 Vintage: Made from hand-picked fruit from the Bunnamagoo Estate high altitude vineyard near Rockley in the Central Ranges of NSW.  Bunnamagoo's winemaker, Robert Black, gently pressed the chilled bunches and fermented the juice in a mixture of new and older French and Hungarian hogsheads for only a period of 4 months to retain the delicate apple and grapefruit characters obvious in the juice.  The wine was then matured on its own lees for another 7 months in a small stainless steel vessel to avoid over oaking and build complexity and structure.  The oak was specially selected for its very tight grain and subtle flavour profile.  The resulting wine displays its cool climate origins and will reward careful cellaring for 8- 10 years.

Bunnamagoo 1827 Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Made from a blend of the best fruit selected from the Eurunderee vineyard at Mudgee and the Bunnamagoo vineyard at Rockley.  Bunnamagoo's winemaker, Robert Black, destemmed and crushed the grapes before fermentation in closed stainless stell potters.  Malolactic fermentation occurred in a mixture of new and old french oak hogsheads followed by maturation for 20 months .  The finished wine has a supple structure with fine tannins and an array of fragrant cassis, red cherry notes and spices.  Oak derived characters of vanilla and fine toast provide a fenerous finish.  The wine will age gracefully for 15 years.
