About Mudgee

Mudgee boasts some of the earliest plantings of Chardonnay in Australia, and Eurunderee was once home to Chardonnay vines planted in 1858. The continental climate of Mudgee, at 450 meters elevation, makes for a late yet moderately warm growing season, complimented with average growing season rainfall of 440mm.
