Meet the Winemaker
Discover the passion and expertise of Rick Staniford, our Senior Winemaker at Bunnamagoo Estate.
Rick's journey took him through diverse winemaking regions, from Canberra in 2009 to Margaret River in 2011, with experiences at Pooles Rock Wines and Spring Creek, Marlborough. Returning to Australia with Agnew Wines, Rick steadily climbed the ranks, from Cellar Foreman in 2014 to Assistant Winemaker in 2017, finally being appointed Winemaker in 2019.
In 2023, Rick Staniford became the Winemaker for the Paspaley family's Bunnamagoo Estate. His passion for Chardonnay resonates with the Paspaley Family's equal love for this varietal, and he expresses excitement about working with both emerging and traditional grape varieties.
