Sangiovese 2025

The 2025 Sangiovese is the first release for Bunnamagoo with young vines producing fruit intensity in lieu of tannin depth. Light ruby red in colour and a vibrant red fruit nose, the aromatics are enticing with hints of spice from old and new French oak. This Sangiovese has spent 7 months in oak, which is less than a traditional Sangiovese to balance the light lean fruit expression. The palate has great natural acidity, dominated by red currant and cherry flavours. Chilling is a great option for hot summer days, approachable and moreish, clean and persistent.
